Cyber Infrastructure Engineer
to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.About the role:As a
Cyber Infrastructure Engineer , you will support the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs). Assist in designing and managing the WAN infrastructure and any processes related to the WAN. Provide Production Support of the Network, including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution client Networks. Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Support the dispatch of circuit and hardware vendors involved in the resolution process. Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. A working knowledge is desirable in various software systems and architectures, communications protocols, and network hardware devices.What we are looking for:Three plus years of relevant hands-on experienceNetworking experienceExperience or knowledge of Service-Mesh, such as IstioGood knowledge of version control systems like GitlabExperience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelinesStrong problem-solving skillsFamiliar with Java, Node.js, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, PythonPassionate about automation, system efficiency, and securityExperience with Log Management and Analytics toolsProficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, GradleExperience with Unit/Integration TestingFamiliarity with Infrastructure as CodeMinimum of a bachelor's degreeObtain CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification within the first 90 days of employment with RaftHighly preferred:Experience with writing custom Helm ChartsBasic experience with Big DataMultilingual programming abilitiesKnowledge in automation languages like Python or GoLangBenefits:Fully covered healthcare, dental, and vision coverage401(k) and company matchTake as you need PTO + 11 paid holidaysMonthly box of yummy snacks to eat while doing meaningful workRemote, hybrid, and flexible work optionsAnd More!Our Vision Statement:We bridge the gap between humans and data through radical transparency and our obsession with the mission.Our Customer Obsession:We will approach every deliverable like it's a product.
