INVISTA is searching for a Sustainability Lead Engineer to join our team. Ideally, this role is preferred to be based out of Houston, TX or Wichita, KS. The Sustainability Leader is a key position within our Operations Technology organization. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Operating Sites, Process Technology Stewards, EH&S, Finance, and Commercial Teams. In this role, the selected individual will support execution of Lifecycle Assessments on INVISTA processes and products for benchmarking, customer reporting, and evaluating improvements in support of the Stewardship Vision.What You Will Do

Lead ISO-compliant Life Cycle Assessments for INVISTA products (including LCI, LCIA, and PCF).Collaborate with Operations Technology teams to collect and assess process/product manufacturing data from global production facilities.Provide modeling support for ad-hoc LCA-related inquiries, analyses, and requests.Ensure vetting and substantiation of LCA documentation on process, data, and results.Support stewardship communication strategy both internally and externally (stories, social media, internal platforms, etc.).Support environmental improvement strategies and initiatives, including energy reduction and renewables, water reduction strategies, and waste recycling and reduction.Maintain LCA software and database updates and licenses across INVISTA.Monitor the latest research, industry trends, and methodologies of life cycle assessments.Collaborate with KII companies for knowledge share and to leverage advancements in the LCA space.Leverage computer applications for analyzing, summarizing, and presenting results (e.g., Office, SAP, data historians).Demonstrate initiative and strong critical thinking skills to work independently and on teams.Define and organize diverse projects in a timely manner.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.Three (3) or more years' experience in process or environmental engineering in refining, petrochemical, or polymer manufacturing industries.Experience developing and utilizing chemical process simulation models.Willing and able to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.What Will Put You Ahead

Advanced degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.Industrial LCA modeling experience using dedicated LCA software and databases.LCA certification or previous experience with Sphera software and databases.Experience with automation or use of AI to improve efficiency.This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
