Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a
Manager Cybersecurity 1
to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in
Roy, Utah
and supporting the Advanced Programs.
The Classified Solutions Advanced Programs Cybersecurity Manager will lead a geographically dispersed program team of 4 - 6 individual contributors. The team is responsible for managing all aspects of ATO management; to include developing and maintaining RMF Bodies of Evidence (BOE), cybersecurity risk mitigation, monitoring, and scanning solutions for research and development efforts aligned under Northrop Grumman’s Advanced Programs teams. A diverse classified information systems security background is required, including the Intelligence Community assessment and authorization process (ICD-503), Special Access Programs (JSIG), and/or DoD collateral (NISPOM and DAAPM) processes. This role will report directly to the Classified Solutions Cybersecurity Sr. Manager and is expected to:
Drive execution of the Digital Ecosystem Cybersecurity Strategy as outlined by the Digital Ecosystem Cyber Element Lead, supporting Sentinel and Advanced Programs Classified Solutions initiatives.
Motivate the team and deliver against the Digital Ecosystem’s Cybersecurity Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management, and Agile Work Breakdown Structure objectives.
Maintain a cyber program that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external organizations.
Identify, allocate and manage cyber resources, including workforce planning.
Deliver presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders.
Identify, distribute, track, and complete program requirements as required.
Ensure environments remain compliant and all associated systems/networks achieve and maintain formal accreditation authorizations from government agencies.
Foster an environment for individual development, teamwork, effective performance management, open communication, financial management, and utilization.
Ensure the team follows Northrop Grumman and the Cyber ISS organizations policies and procedures, making sure that all information is accurate and complete in support of those policies and procedures.
Support the formal Security Assessment process required by the company or government customer.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
AA Degree with 5 years of experience or an additional 4 years in lieu of degree.
US Citizenship with Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
Ability to obtain Special Access.
At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
1+ year of experience in the one (or more) of the following areas: Department of Defense Special Access Programs (DoD SAP), and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs.
1+ year of experience supporting Advanced Program ATO administration under JSIG.
1+ year of experience with current DoD 8570 IAM Level III security certification (examples: CISM, GSLC, CCISO, CISSP) in order to be considered.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Diverse classified information systems security / information assurance background.
Prior experience communicating with customer and program leadership.
Business Acumen: The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and cybersecurity concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance.
Communications: The ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored, and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needs that are within Cybersecurity risk tolerance.
Issue & Problem Resolution: The ability to identify and address cybersecurity program impacts through a systematic proactive approach that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts across all levels of the program.
Salary Range:
$109,300 - $163,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
