The Oracle HCM Architect will be responsible for ensuring that all HCM systems are built to extend and scale. You will own all the HR systems from a technological point of view as well as the complete life cycle of HCM systems, from business requirements, through executive approval, program execution, and delivery. This position is considered a key member of the Oracle leadership team.GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and deliver the Enterprise-wide solution architecture with Oracle HCM Cloud as the product.Develop architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for Oracle Cloud HCM Applications.Collaborate with other solution architects for EPM, ERP, and SCM to define the cross-workstream enterprise-wide architecture including common reporting/warehousing ecosystem.Identify business requirements and map them to the Oracle Application functionality as well as functionality gaps and deliver them through partners and the Oracle functional analysts.Vet and validate the Configurations and documentation for the Oracle Applications to meet internal stakeholders’ requirements.Validate business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions, and application extensions.Take lead role in planning, scoping, and creation of technical solutions in implementation projects.Create Proof-of-Concept projects to validate the solution.Assist with the management and guidance of Oracle service requests as needed.Interact with the project team members and partners providing status and issue reports to the Project Management Office.Manage the development of reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions.Define testing strategy, testing scenarios, develop test scripts along with the business users and business analysts, and support users with the execution of test scripts.Document the business process, solution design, and maintain the configuration workbook.Educate business stakeholders about best practices.Manage the development of end-user documentation and training materials as well as deliver end-user training.Effectively manage work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities with internal clients.Establish strong working relationships with both technical and non-technical members of the organization at all levels.Collaborate with business partners and IT Business Analysts to understand ongoing business needs and translate technical requirements into deliverables. This might include reviewing issues reported from end users, determining and reconciling discrepancies, solving for root cause of errors, and developing solutions to correct them.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree required.GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:15+ years’ Implementation / Support experience in implementing Oracle HCM Applications.5+ years working with Oracle HCM in a Solution Architect role.Solid understanding of the Product and Business processes related to Oracle HCM Cloud Applications.Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Benefits, Absences, Time & Labor, Payroll, Compensation, and Talent & Performance.Experience working for BIG4 is a Plus.Solid understanding of delivery methodology and must have led teams in the implementation of solutions according to the design and architecture.Well-versed in the latest architecture trends and able to provide insights on market/technical conditions and future direction.Able to define new solutions and drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint.Experienced in creating design and architecture specifications for Oracle Cloud HCM solutions with specific experience around security roles, access and domain, data extracts, data migration, integration with other systems, and reporting capabilities.Proven track record of delivering solutions within defined timeframes while performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.Experience with Organizational Change Management is strongly preferred.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, issue analysis, and resolution skills.Strong people management skills.Experienced communicating with executives and stakeholders.Experience leading IT initiatives across various methodologies.Passion for leading and implementing change.Able to work well in a fast-paced multicultural global work environment.Must be able to manage time, work under pressure, and deliver to tight deadlines.Able to work collaboratively across several IT and business functions to gain buy-in to new processes.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Able to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
