Preferred Qualifications:

Strong Requirement Elicitation & Analysis skillsShould have the capability to understand requirements and convert them to designAbility to coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders, manage timelines, escalate issues & provide on-time status – strong project management skills as well.Good knowledge in Teradata concepts and Logical/Physical database designExperience in using Teradata utilities: TPT, TPump, BTEQ, Fastload, Fast Export, and Multiload.In-depth knowledge of Performance tuning and optimization to handle and process large volumes of data in TeradataExperience in SQL programming (views/store procedures/macros/functions) based on user requirements and architectural guidelines and standards.Good knowledge and experience in Big Data related technologies is a plusGood knowledge of BI/DW conceptsExperience in writing Unix Shell scripting is a mustExcellent Communication SkillsThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.Additional Information
