Join our fast-paced, growing team as an OpenShift Engineer! You’ll support Federated’s container runtime environment, enterprise registry, and cluster management solutions. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about using technology to solve business challenges. They possess the highest level of integrity, strong initiative, and drive. We’re looking for a motivated Systems Engineer with experience in:Red Hat OpenShift (OCP)KubernetesDocker/PodmanQuayADO/GitAdvanced Cluster Security (ACS) / StackroxAdvanced Cluster Management (ACM)LinuxRed Hat CoreOSNutanixKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate, implement, and configure OpenShift 4 clustersManage the container ecosystem (installations, upgrades, patching, monitoring)Ensure fault tolerance and redundancy for business recoveryMonitor and manage infrastructure performance and capacityAssist IT personnel in deploying container-based applications using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., ADO)Monitor, patch, and configure Nutanix PlatformQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, mathematics, or equivalent experience1+ year managing OpenShift or other Kubernetes-based environmentsPreferred knowledge of application container technologies (Docker, Podman, etc.)Experience with Linux and scripting languages (Bash, YAML, JSON)Automation experience (Ansible, ArgoCD) is a plusWebSphere experience is a plusStrong communication, administrative, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to build relationships and work in a team environmentBasic understanding of network protocols, principles, and conceptsKnowledge of security best practices preferredWhat We Offer
