Insurance Data Analytics Internship
provides an opportunity for students currently pursuing an Insurance, Business Administration, or related degree with a passion for data and desire to learn new skills. You will contribute to projects and advance our existing programs. We are looking for talented and inquisitive students that are excited about making an impact at an organization. You will be able to make real decisions, focus on real work, and initiate real results.The Insurance Data Analytics team assesses risks and opportunities when developing new business processes, philosophies, and user experiences. They use data to develop and improve digital strategies and processes, and to increase revenue, efficiency, quality, and security for ensuring that the transformational initiatives of the Agency are accomplished.This position will work on a hybrid schedule (onsite & remote) and will be based in Cincinnati, OH.What You'll Do:Creates interactive, automated and ad-hoc reports using data associated with sales, service and operational effectiveness, member retention, and project/product performance using both Power BI and Excel.Aids in the gathering and documentation of functional requirements, user stories, and business/data/application/technology architectures, requirements, and business rules.Works with the team to support in-depth analyses of data to identify trends, patterns, and relationships. Assists in summarizing findings clearly and concisely for both technical and non-technical audiences.Supports data analytics processes, reporting and performance metrics to assist Agency leadership in achieving performance objectives.Follows established testing and validation procedures and best practices to ensure accuracy and quality of reporting.Helps identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects across multiple business lines.Minimum Qualifications:Be a rising sophomore or higher working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related degree.Able to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the program (June 3 – August 9, 2024; 10 weeks; 37.5hrs/week)Ability to work both independently and as a member of a teamAAA Club Alliance (ACA) is an affirmative action - equal opportunity employer.Our investment in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:At ACA, we are committed to cultivating a welcoming and inclusive workplace of team members with diverse backgrounds and experiences to enable us to meet our goals and support our values while serving our Members and customers.
