They will dig deep into the WPF knowledge.C#, SQL.Net DevelopmentJob Description:Currently, Nationstar is looking for a .NET Developer to help with the Development and enhancements for their internal applications. There is going to be little to no maintenance work, because they have resources that will be responsible for BAU work. They want someone who is able to create detailed technical documentation of systems enhancements that include: Design Specifications Documents, Report Guides, Systems Descriptions Documents, and Change Control Forms. Deliver efficient code that minimizes systems performance impacts and minimizes post-installation issues. They will spend most of their time doing New Development within new and existing applications. The candidates MUST have very good experience with WPF and Data Binding. They are essentially looking for someone who has done more than just one project within WPF, because typically someone who has only had limited working experience with WPF does not make it past the technical assessment.Additional Information:They would like someone who has prior mortgage experience, but it is not a deal breaker. This manager has not had much luck with resources that are coming from large financial institutions (such as BOA, JPMC) - He is not opposed to someone with that background, but it has been his experience that they have a tendency to be pigeonholed within certain technology and they don’t do well on his team. He ideally would like someone that has come from a smaller 1-3 person shop because they have had to wear different hats, are more well-rounded, and able to adapt quickly to the changes thrown at them. This is a very fast-paced environment and they have a lot of projects going on at this time. They have several projects right now that are scheduled for 90-day Sprints and the manager is expecting many more projects to come from the Business side.Minimum Requirements:Background in C#, ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.5 years of professional experience as a software developer/programmer analyst with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework and related technologies.WPF is a Must.Experience with the Mortgage Industry or Financial Applications preferred.Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming (OOD, OOP) and Design Patterns.Dot NET development (C#.NET, WPF, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, MVVM, MVC).Database Development experience. Preferred SQL Server 2008/2010 (Stored Procedures, triggers, DTS etc).Experience with classic ASP and Classic VB, COM/DCOM applications a plus.Interview Information:This is going to be a two-step process. Initially, there is going to be a 30-minute phone screen that will be technical and personality, then there is going to be a face-to-face interview with the Manager and Team Lead.Non-Technical Skills:They are looking for someone that does not need too much direction with regards to doing his/her work. They have a lot of projects going on that the manager doesn’t have the time to do any hand-holding. They need to have good communication and be able to work in a team environment. Someone who constantly needs direction and isn’t able to adapt quickly to changes will not succeed in this environment. Why is the position open?:They currently have 10+ Projects that are engaged in and they are having to pull their Sr and trusted resources to the pressing/high-profile projects and they are falling behind on the others.
