And we want you.Configuration Management SpecialistWe need your experience and ideas to help us establish and maintain the configuration of our products and ensure we maintain compliance with our established Policies and Procedures. You’ll work with our Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering/Projects team, and PCL to coordinate, submit and maintain the technical data for our relevant processes. You’ll be able to grow your technical abilities and communication skills through close coordination with these groups throughout the various engineering release cycles.What you’ll be doing as a Configuration Management Specialist:Establish and maintain configuration processes; communicate these processes, variations, and deviations to the Managers of Manufacturing Engineering projects/Manager of PE and PCL; and coordinate, submit and maintain technical data and relevant processes.Review program engineering configuration control methodology and variances in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment and provide specific direction to data owners that will prevent process or system issues and to ensure proper standards and quality are established and maintained.Monitor engineering release and provide appropriate and compliant data submittals to requesting or contracting customers.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and provide specific direction to data owners to ensure compliance.Manage policies across PE and PC&L organization.Schedule and manage activities related to program or product-related change boards (e.g., Configuration Change Board (CCB), etc.) by providing direction to participants and stakeholders before, during and after the sessions.Support CM reviews and audits, including FCA/PCA and provide direction before, during and after the events to prevent or resolve issues.Monitor the stability and health of the Engineering Bill-of-Material and Planning/Manufacturing Bill-of-Material for the assigned programs and provide feedback to data owners regarding data issues.Skills You Bring To this Role:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.Good interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to work effectively within a team, and must have the ability to prioritize a variety of assignments.Familiarity with a Product Life-cycle Management (PLM) software, data management software, and document imaging software.Basic understanding of roles, tasks, policies and procedures required to execute the change process, configuration management, data management, and product-related data maintained in the ENOVIA PLM environment.What you need to be successful:Bachelor’s Degree required.7+ years of experience in manufacturing environment.Configuration management, data management, or administrative/office management experience is required.Certification in configuration management is beneficial.What we offer you in return:You’ll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule.80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO).120 hours Vacation time.12-13 paid holidays per year.Access to more than 11 Employee Resource Groups.And so much more.It’s time to make your mark on the future of aviation.
