Systems Engineer Manager - Level 5We are Lockheed MartinWe are seeking a first-line manager to lead the Integrate Fighter Group (IFG F-16/F-22) Advance Development Program (ADP) Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (EEE) team within the Vehicle Systems directorate. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Specialty Engineering Team. The manager will oversee a functional engineering team responsible for aircraft/system EEE requirements and supporting Systems/Subsystem Integration across the IFG line of business. The successful candidate will set high performance standards, maintain professionalism, and demonstrate continuous learning and analytical thinking.Primary Responsibilities:Drive the development and implementation of functional standards within the EEE competencies.Establish and coordinate processes, plans, and procedures to ensure timely, accurate, and focused engineering support across the enterprise.Develop and execute workforce competency strategies, managing and advancing a skilled team specializing in EEE.Oversee IFG/ADP EEE capabilities for vehicle and mission systems components.Collaborate on strategic direction, aligning day-to-day operational plans with long-term objectives.Maintain situational awareness of team status and ensure the team supports the organizational tempo.Participate in functional and program organizational meetings.Establish vision, goals, and objectives that support higher-level program and organizational outcomes.Lead efforts to implement cost reduction initiatives and long-range plans aimed at the continuous improvement of the IFG/ADP EEE team.Assign personnel to programs and tasks, direct resources to priority tasks, and adjust priorities based on evolving needs.Interface and coordinate with stakeholders and leadership from Sustainment, Vehicle Systems & Mission Systems Engineering, suppliers, and customers to develop and mature EEE capabilities.Create, support, and reward a team environment that fosters innovation and inclusion, ensuring the team’s actions lead to positive business results.Some domestic and/or international travel may be required.What’s In It For You:Our employees play an active role in strengthening the quality of life where we live and work by volunteering more than 850,000 hours annually. Discover Fort Worth.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or above in the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Physics, related degree considered.Experience interfacing with customers and subcontractors.Technical lead or team leadership experience.Cross-functional collaboration skills.US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.Desired Skills:Experience in EEE, EMI, MIL-STD-461, MILSTD-464.IFG and/or ADP program experience.Experience in Radio Frequency Compatibility (RFC) for military aircraft.Formal leadership experience.Technical problem-solving and strong analytical skills.Excellent organizational, planning, time management, and interpersonal skills.Experience building and leading effective teams.Proficiency in operating in complex environments.Experience as a Control Account Manager.Ability to engage with all levels of management.Security Clearance Statement:
