Description:Lockheed Martin (LM) Space is searching for an IT Operations Manager for our Space Security Cyber and Analytics (SSCA) mission segment under the National Security Space Line of Business. As the SSCA IT Operations Manager, the successful candidate will manage and lead a team of IT professionals for numerous classified systems which includes infrastructure and application deployments, new technology insertion, program, project and budget management, schedule and staffing requirements. The candidate will also coordinate with program management and technical leads to coordinate program operations, new environment stand-up and integration of various classified services.
This candidate will also be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. This also includes hiring of sub-contractors in support of program operations and execution.
Basic Qualifications:5+ Years of experience leading people, projects, teams, etc. and total experience of 12 years or moreUnderstanding of classified IT system architectures and multi-site connectionsExperience with management of IT systems including storage, servers, networking devicesExperienced in leading and managing IT requirements and executing project management schedules through completionPast performance & execution to cost (Control Account Management), schedule, technical & risk managementDemonstrated ability to work seamlessly across organization boundariesAbility to coordinate with other sites, business areas, programs and functional areas to coordinate daily operations as well as program coordination and adoptionActive DoD Top Secret or higher at time of application
Desired Skills:Experience with leading an Agile team and/or understanding of Agile principlesUnderstanding of 1LMX tools and capabilitiesKnowledge of Product Lifecycle from new business pursuit to contract closureHighly motivated and able to prioritize and integrate multiple projectsStrong understanding of information security trends and current industry focus areas, Technical experience with vulnerability management, normal infrastructure/perimeter protections, information security best practicesExperience with Cloud based IT solutions/architecturesDemonstrated skills in Business Transformation and Process ImprovementStrong communication and critical thinking skills.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
