Our mission is to solve the most important and fundamental challenges in AI and Robotics to enable future generations of intelligent machines that will help us all live better lives.About the Opportunity:As a DevOps Intern, you’ll dive into the exciting world of DevOps engineering, collaborating with experts and contributing directly to cutting-edge projects in AI and robotics. This role offers hands-on experience with the latest DevOps tools and technologies, working both in cloud environments and on-premises. Plus, you'll get to showcase your work through a demo project that highlights your unique contributions by the end of your internship.What You'll Do
Work collaboratively with research scientists and software engineers on software development for a range of different robotic platforms, both on premises and in the cloudDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and Github ActionsAutomate and improve our software build, test and deployment processesDevelop and maintain our container orchestration systems using Docker and KubernetesBuild monitoring and alerting systems for our infrastructure, Prometheus, Grafana, DatadogMaintain and administer our data stores and databases, such as Redis, and Weka FSMaintain our artifact management systems such as Artifactory and Github Container RegistryMaintain and scale our clusters using custom Kubernetes CRDs and controllersExperience designing and implementing RESTful APIs / hosting local SaaS applications at scaleDevelop and maintain cloud Infrastructure as code using TerraformWhat You'll Bring
Progressing towards a BS/MS in computer science, data science, cybersecurity, or other related fields2+ years experience delivering robust code (internships, research positions and open source/class projects included)Linux/Unix skillsScripting skills (Unix Shell and Python)Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, etc)Excellent troubleshooting, interpersonal, and technical communication skillsWillingness and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional teamAttention to detail and a strong desire to seize optimization opportunitiesInterest in self-improvement and staying up-to-date on the latest technologiesPreferred Qualifications
