SALARY:

The salary range for this position is $103,395.99 to $160,053.17. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.

The New Jersey Courts Information Technology Office (ITO) is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong leadership, managerial and technical skills to serve as manager of the Judiciary Central Office & Municipal Court Support Teams. In addition, this manager will be responsible for core infrastructure technologies that are used to provide Judiciary employees with a secure working environment.REMOTE WORK:

The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 3 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

Manages the IT End User Support staff; assures adequate coverage during business hours, performs annual reviews, assigns goals, and meets with the staff regularly to review progress against those goals.Monitors status of open help tickets and assures tickets are addressed in a timely manner according to SLAs for help tickets.Support and maintain proper patch management on all Windows systems and servers throughout the Judiciary.Manage the VDI environment utilized by the state.Present to senior managers, when necessary, on the goals and objectives of the teams under their management.Oversee the support of Office365 and Azure infrastructures.Manage the infrastructures used to provide remote support to all users.Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and five years of professional administrative and/or program management experience which shall have included responsibility for reviewing, prioritizing, and assessing information technology initiatives, projects, and staff; developing, implementing, and supporting complex systems, database, network, and applications environments; aligning technology strategies with business objectives; optimizing use of Information Technology resources including developing budgets and controlling costs; and/or defining applications development methodologies and three years of supervision of staff.Substitution:

Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An associate's degree and two years of additional professional experience may be substituted for the required bachelor's degree. A master's degree may be substituted for one year of experience as indicated above
