Overview:
The Senior Link 16 Liaison – Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide support to the IBCS program and act as the liaison for Link 16 on the IBCS program. In addition, the SME will support the needs of a motivated development and integration team. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot technical issues within multiple systems and collaborate with software development teams.
Assess the communications and Multi-TDL system architecture performance to support potential corrective actions or resolutions required.
Establish priorities, operate independently, and execute tasking with limited to no supervision.
Familiarity with performing sprint tasks in an Agile execution structure.
Integrate and configure Virtual Machines and software updates.
Utilize JIRA and Confluence for tracking objectives and updating technical documentation.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess:
10+ years of military experience.
8+ years of experience in C4ISR DOD systems.
A strong knowledge of Command and Control systems like AMDWS, ADSI, with emphasis on ADSI software installation, integration, and link configuration.
Knowledge of how other DoD and US Army command and control software suites exchange data using networks and message sets.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience with operational systems (e.g., C2BMC, GMD, THAAD, Patriot, ADSI), message standards and formats (e.g., Link-16, TADIL-J, MIL-STD 6016, MIL-STD 6020, MIL-STD 3011, VMF).
TDL Data Analysis.
Windows 10.
RedHat Linux.
Experience with systems: IBCS, Patriot, ADAM, THAAD.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of office administration and procedures.
Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully.
