We are willing to consider candidates who are able to work out of our LaVista office near Omaha, NE OR out of our regional office located in Lenexa, KS.Responsibilities
Develop interactive web applicationsCollaborate with product teams and business stakeholders to gather and interpret user requirementsIterate and improve team software systems and processesMonitor and stay informed on latest web development community technologiesProduce well-documented code which is easy to understand/maintainMentor others and invest in growing the team’s skillsetManage code repositories, work with IT operation teams to configure infrastructure and deploy applicationsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar technology degree or equivalent work experience3+ years of demonstrated software development experienceStrong track record of successfully executing complex projects and/or projects involving multiple disciplines.Experience collaborating with senior managers to understand drivers of success and departmental goalsStrong customer management skills; ability to manage more than one clientStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written)Proven ability to self-direct work efforts and lead othersStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsTeam player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectivesStrong organization, time management, and attention to detailIdeal Experience Includes
Experience with Python, Django, React, Azure SQL, and SnowflakeExperience with Azure platform, Azure Functions and REST API servicesExperience building data visualizations using charting libraries such as or similar to Plotly, Chart.js, D3.jsHas developed applications utilizing a CSS frameworks/UI component library such as Bootstrap, MUI, Tailwind CSS, or similarOther Requirements
Work productively and meet deadlines timelyCommunicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
