Agile Release Train Engineer

The Agile Release Train Engineer will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating Agile Release Trains to ensure the successful delivery of value through effective program management and alignment with business goals.

Required Background and Skills:
5+ years of experience in Agile project management or program management.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Lean principles, and software development lifecycles.
Familiarity with Agile tools and project management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive resolution.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to track program metrics and performance.
Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe RTE, PMP, CSM) is highly desirable.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Facilitate Agile Release Train ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions.
Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
Monitor and report on the progress of releases, identifying risks and dependencies, and facilitating resolution.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting Lean-Agile principles and practices.
Coordinate cross-team collaboration and communication to ensure smooth execution of the release process.
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
Support teams in removing impediments and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
Work Location:
Hybrid. Remote first with occasional travel to attend team planning meetings and similar events.
