Summary:
The main responsibilities of a Python Engineer include writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services. The specific focus of this position will be working to unify various intake processes into an automation-driven process to receive signals from upstream teams on deployment activities for network equipment and supporting infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Write effective, scalable codeDevelop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performanceIntegrate user-facing elements into applicationsReview and approve modifications to existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performanceDevelop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentationImprove functionality of existing systemsImplement security and data protection solutionsAssess and prioritize feature requestsCoordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutionsCounsel customers about software system design and maintenance
Skills:
Hands-on experience in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid)Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to work independently and manage one’s timeGood communication skills and ability to work in a teamKnowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software
Must Have Skills:
Good organization - can work with multiple teams and technologies at onceGood communicator on the status of workProficiency in Python, and adaptability to change
Nice to Have Skills:
Familiarity with JavaScriptFamiliarity with React
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field required
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location, and end client requirements).
