As a DevOps Engineer with Marathon, you will have the opportunity to foster a pattern of continuous improvement within our organization. Our DevOps engineers participate in the full lifecycle of software development, focused on the creation, quality, deployment, and monitoring of software solutions. As a member of an agile development team, you will have the opportunity to support a variety of focus areas, such as:Cloud infrastructureDistributed systems designContainer OrchestrationTest Driven Design and AutomationRelease managementCI/CD pipeline automationCross Domain SolutionsAutomated deployment and monitoring solutionsIn this role, you will facilitate cross-team communications, establishing and promoting best practices to multiple teams. Remote work is supported, to the extent allowed by your active project.You'll Bring These Qualifications:
A working understanding of scripting languages (Python, bash)Software development experienceStrong background in Linux Administration (RedHat and CentOS)Active Top Secret/SCI DoD Security ClearanceThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of related experiencePassion for automation and continual learningExperience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or an equivalentExperience managing CI/CD toolchainsExperience with containers and container orchestrationExperience with git, branching patterns, and general version control best practicesAWS Associate CertificationsSecurity (CISSP)Marathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
