As a Data Analyst Intern, you will support the company's data-driven decision-making process by analyzing large amounts of data related to consumer behavior, trends and patterns. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of experts and gain valuable insights into the retail industry while developing your skills and knowledge in data analytics.
This is a part-time internship position that requires excellent attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in collecting, cleaning and transforming large data sets from various sources.Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and insights related to consumer behavior, market trends, and sales patterns.Assist in building and maintaining reporting and visualization tools to communicate data insights to key stakeholders.Develop and maintain dashboards, data visualizations, and other reporting solutions.Conduct ad hoc data analysis to support business needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelors or Masters degree program.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R programming languages.
