Role Purpose
The Site Manager US works as an IT quality manager for the construction and office sites in his/her region. The job holder is responsible for planning, coordination, and tracking the delivery of all necessary IT equipment and fulfillment of services for a site. The role is responsible for managing the IT service delivery on site in the time and quality needed in the build of the IT setup as well as during operations. The role is part of Infrastructure.
Top 5 Main Responsibilities
Planning, forecasting, and coordination of site setup infrastructure, changes, moves, and decommissioning.
Managing the quality of IT services provided for sites.
Manage the relationship and ensure communication between the site responsible from business and the Corporate IT.
Supporting continuous improvement of the service delivery and operational support for construction sites.
Additional Responsibilities
Gather requirements on the IT technical setup of the site.
Support IT Business Partner in consulting businesses regarding documentation of business requirements for IT demand.
Part of the global IT Demand Management process: ensuring that all requirements of the site are either assigned to the corporate IT delivery via a demand or as service requests.
Forecasting and planning of the installation with respect to lead times and resource planning.
Implementation of IT services and solutions based on agreed corporate IT standards.
Coordination of the installation and tracking of the progress.
Manage the overall quality of the setup and coordinate the solution of any issues.
Regular communication to both the business and the IT delivery units/products, including external parties.
Act as the interface between the site in the region and IT.
Manage complaints and escalations from the sites.
Keeping informed about the current service delivery quality for the sites, based on feedback from the sites or KPI reports by the service delivery.
Professional Experience & Education
5+ years relevant experience as an Account Manager or Project Manager in international and fast-changing, change-driven environments, involving experience in dealing with senior levels.
University degree in computer science, information technology, engineering (e.g., Bachelor) or equivalent is required.
Experience with standard IT Operations frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
Specific Skills & Knowledge
Fluent in English language.
Fluent in the main local language of the region.
Very good understanding of Corporate IT Demand Management process and Corporate IT Service Delivery.
Problem analysis & resolving skills.
Very good communication skills towards business and IT.
Experienced in matrix organizations.
Intercultural competencies with strong experience in international collaboration.
Willingness to travel (required for site support, up to an average of 80%).
Broad knowledge about current IT infrastructure solutions from Network to Cloud to Client and Microsoft M365 required.
Proven track record of IT management of larger sites (500 users+) embedded in an enterprise-grade company.
