OverviewSpirit AeroSystems designs and builds aerostructures for both commercial and defense customers. Spirit AeroSystems focuses on affordable, innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions to support customers around the globe.ResponsibilitiesKey Accountabilities:This position will conduct short and long range facility space and master planning, work flow analysis, space and facility usage while managing technical specifications and designing plans for capital projects. Responsibilities include: review of design plans and specifications for functionality, attainment of facility planning needs and technical specifications and design efficiency. Position will work with functional organizations to create a formal facility planning statement to meet the needs of a proposed facility and develop projected cost estimates based on construction/cost templates, conduct planning meetings, and resolve disputes between departments involved in space planning and new construction and renovation planning. Work includes ability to translate conceptual ideas to specific facility planning, project design and space layout, development and management of capital improvement estimates with a strong emphasis on Project Management.
