Operations Support is comprised of approximately 1,000 coworkers.Position SummaryExtracts operations data for analysis, leadership support and responses to ad hoc data requests. Maintains operations tools & databases to ensure that it is kept up to date. Develops, maintains, and enhances operational metric database tools for the broader analytics teams. Identifies and solves current gaps in data requirements and ease of access to ensure fast and consistent responses to leadership inquiries.This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.A reasonable salary range is:Bay Area Minimum: $105,000Bay Area Maximum: $169,000Job ResponsibilitiesManages complex data analysis projects with limited supervision from initial request to presenting data results ensuring that the project is completed within budget and on-time.Designs data analysis to achieve business objectives, process data, analyze data, write clear and concise data findings and tailor communications to specific audiences. Analyzes data using various statistical tools to develop ad hoc reports, statistics, trends and profiles.Manages complex data extracts and list pulls ensuring data accuracy. Manages extracting data and transferring the data from databases to various analysts to support operational analysis effortsCreates complex automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery ensuring accurate data manipulation and datacleansing.Demonstrates and utilizes advanced knowledge of data processing and data analysis techniques.Develops and communicates clear, concise and actionable data analyses for clients.Provides recommendations to enhance database(s) with new data sources and improved data processes.Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration, both verbally and through written communication.Gathers requirements and business logic through a project intake process, documents requirements and final approved logic and methodology. Is responsible for the development of up-to-date reference materials for both internal and external clients for all products and datasets.QualificationsMinimum:BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or other related field or equivalent work experienceJob-related experience, 4 yearsDesired:Advanced skill in writing SQL queries using Microsoft SQL ServerFamiliarity with Power BI/Tableau Desktop ApplicationsProficient with Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)Knowledge on Microsoft Power ApplicationsExperience in business, electric or gas utility#featuredjob
