We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications using the ABAP programming language. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality SAP solutions.Key Responsibilities
SAP Development:
Design, code, test, debug, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming language and SAP development tools.Technical Design:
Work closely with functional teams and business analysts to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and specifications.Enhancements and Customization:
Develop custom programs, reports, interfaces, and forms to meet specific business requirements within the SAP environment.Data Migration:
Develop and execute data migration programs to ensure smooth and accurate data transfer between legacy systems and SAP.Performance Optimization:
Identify and address performance issues in SAP applications. Optimize code and database queries to enhance application performance.Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing:
Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in SAP applications. Perform debugging and testing to ensure software quality and reliability.Integration:
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to integrate SAP systems with other applications, databases, and external systems.Support and Maintenance:
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP applications.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong experience in SAP ABAP development, including programming, debugging, and performance tuning.Proficiency in ABAP development tools, such as ABAP Workbench, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), and SAP NetWeaver.Experience with SAP modules like FI/CO, SD, MM, or HR is preferred.Knowledge of SAP development methodologies and best practices.Understanding of SAP data structures, tables, and function modules.Familiarity with SAP integration technologies, such as IDoc, BAPI, and RFC.Good understanding of SAP application architecture and SAP modules' interdependence.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
