organization builds and operates the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications service, a complete suite of enterprise SaaS applications with embedded AI that run on next-generation Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Leading companies trust Oracle to run their critical business functions.What You Will DoThe SaaS Continuity Engineering team is responsible for the design and build of the systems and services that enable Oracle to deliver industry-leading availability and performance objectives for Oracle’s SaaS services. As a Senior Principal Engineer (Architect), you will be responsible for ensuring that our SaaS services are designed and built with the highest level of availability and resiliency in mind. You will collaborate with other engineering teams and drive the technical architecture of our service continuity solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high-availability and service continuity solutions across the entire stack – infrastructure, database, platform, and application services.Required QualificationsMS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields10+ years experience in system/application architecture/design along with database, infrastructure, and networking experience6+ years software development experience in a distributed cloud engineering environmentStrong experience and detailed technical knowledge in SaaS or PaaS engineeringExperience in building large scale applications and servicesStrong development experience in Java, C++, or similar OO languagesExperience with containers (Dockers, Kubernetes) and other cloud-native componentsExperience with Python or other scripting languages for developing automationsExperience in developing resilient and fault-tolerant systemsExperience working with multiple engineering teams across organizationsWritten and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearlyComfortable in a collaborative, agile development environment.Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (Examples: AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle)Understanding of distributed computing and cloud-based platformsGood customer & executive communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environmentDisclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only.US: Hiring Range: from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum.
