5 - 10%Job DescriptionWhat you will be doing:As a Senior Design Program Manager, you'll be at the forefront of guiding and leading design teams and programs to success. Here's what you'll own and drive:Leadership and Management:Lead and guide teams/programs, ensuring comprehensive solutions for defined problems with oversight as needed.Drive small to medium design+ teams to lead new programs or initiatives for a focus area within an organization.Proactively identify opportunities and risks, forging a path forward to increase team effectiveness.Deliver high-quality systems and programs that amplify the productivity of the team.Collaboration and Communication:Build trust and establish strong relationships with cross-functional partners.Act as a bridge between UX, Engineering, and Product Management teams.Anticipate bottlenecks and provide escalation management.Enable creative solutions by leveraging design acumen and knowledge of business and customer experience best practices.Promote transparency, visibility, and community among the team.Advocate for the needs of the design team.Culture and Team Building:Influence culture by fostering inclusivity and organizing team bonding activities.Understand staffing gaps on teams and partner with management to address them.Participate in recruiting activities including talent identification and interviewing.Change management:Navigate and manage change effectively within the team and XFN partners.Actively seek feedback from the team on process, tooling, and workflow.Attributes:Thrives in ambiguity, proactive, organized, excellent time management, accessible, approachable.What you will need:Over 5+ years of experience leading and expanding high-performance design teams.Capable of concurrently managing multiple projects while effectively influencing diverse audiences.Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations.Exceptional communication abilities.Proficient in inspiring and guiding design teams.Bring a balanced approach and sound decision-making to strategic conversations.Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is flexible and agile.FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation.
