Air Force Materiel Command IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) Hill AFB, Utah

Summary: The primary purpose of this position IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) NH-2210-03 is to serve as a Program Management Office program manager and subject matter expert, researching, developing, and recommending new and innovative IT corporate acquisition policies, practices, and processes for the management of the Hill AFB Component Enterprise Data Center (CEDC).Responsibilities:Serve as a senior systems analyst and advisor to the installation.Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage acquisition of information technology (IT) assets.Serve as contracting officer representative.Perform as a senior technical advisor to functional users.Conduct in-depth systems analyses of existing systems and systems components to determine comprehensive installation business requirements and opportunities for new and/or enhanced information technology.Requirements:Conditions of Employment: Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Information Technology (IT) Management Series 2210 (Alternative A). Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is described as: assisted with researching, developing, and recommending new and innovative IT corporate acquisition policies, practices, and processes; aided in preparing technical specifications and supporting documentation which are incorporated into contracts and purchase orders; assisting with analyzing for optimum approaches to meet user requirements and prepares trade-off analysis for alternate design concepts.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:Knowledge of a wide range of IT principles and systems analysis concepts and techniques, new and emerging information technologies, and security methods and principles.Knowledge of customers' business processes and operations to anticipate and refine functional requirements.Knowledge of concepts and principles of sequencing actions, procurement techniques and requirements, and coordination requirements involved in project controls.Knowledge of design tools, methods, and techniques as well as life cycle management concepts, cost benefit analysis, system architecture, integration techniques, and testing methods.Knowledge of customary approaches, techniques, and requirements appropriate to analyze requirements, develop acquisition strategies, and implement systems enhancements.PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE:

Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE:

Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.Cyber/Cybersecurity Certification:

Is a condition of employment. Continued employment in this position is subject to successfully obtaining and maintaining the Cyber certification unless the incumbent is already in a position that requires Cyber certification.Education:
