In a Sales Application Engineer role, you will provide effective communications within the external customer base and internal teams including sales, marketing, engineering, quality and production that are critical to individual and team performance success.Responsibilities:Own or assist product managers in developing Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).Develop and execute application use case test plans for New Product Introductions (NPIs).Develop NPI technical training for field application engineers and customers.Technical support PoC for key strategic OEM customers.Partner with Product Managers to develop novel applications for ATI products that create significant customer value.Construct product demonstrations using Robots and presentations to showcase product capabilities at tradeshows, conferences, and customer sites.Create inbound and outbound marketing content, including competitive analysis, videos, and application notes.Own or assist product managers in the execution of 80/20 and End of Life Strategy.Be recognized as a product and application subject matter expert to field application engineers and select strategic customers.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive product and process innovation.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Controls, or related Engineering major.Experience in an engineering role, preferably in the automation, photonics, or biomedical engineering.Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.Up to 15% travel required.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
