Learn more today at www.KnorrBrake.com!JOB DESCRIPTION:Intern, Software EngineerOpportunity to work with Software Engineers on any of the following tasks:Investigate software bug reports and change requests.Design, code, modify, debug, test, and document software.Provide task breakdown and effort estimates.Unit tests - Design, document, execute, and result recording.Integration tests - Design, document, execute, and result recording.Report issues, including timely escalation.Use software configuration management (SCM) tools.Work under the supervision/guidance of other Systems Engineers, Project Managers, Customer support, Test Engineers, and Software Engineers.Perform any other duties assigned by the management.Required Skills:Scripting (e.g. Python), C/C++Familiar with software requirements and designFamiliarity with OOADMS Office suiteThe successful candidate will have the following skills:Detail orientedGood problem-solving skillsGood communication and team skillsAbility to work in a cross-functional team in a dynamic environment, including international team members.Education:Degree:
