Business Systems Analyst Co-OpJob Description Summary

Be part of a tier-one automotive drive train supplier that delivers power to move the world. At AAM, we’re looking for associates who push beyond the limits of their imagination to break the boundaries of what exists today to drive solutions for tomorrow.Job Description

Obtains knowledge of pricing concepts including metal market, directed buy, and other commercially driven pricing elements.Champions data integrity and drives analysis of data within Oracle ERP system. Serves as key IT liaison for resolution of technical issues within the system.Analyzes contracts and provides root cause analysis of pricing discrepancies.Assists account management teams with gathering and submitting customer requirements for collection of rebillable tooling.Supports process improvements for rebillable tooling and coordinates with cross-functional stakeholder groups.Coordinates with AAM manufacturing facilities and support groups worldwide to gather information needed for analysis.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.Required Skills And Education

Must be enrolled in a 4 year college program.Preferred Majors: Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Information systems management.Graduation date of December 2024 or later.Availability to work 30-40 hours/week while attending classes.Good verbal and written communication skills.Analytical ability where problems are somewhat difficult or complex.Strong attention to details and accuracy of information.Strong organization and clerical skills.Computer skills including proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. Ability to easily learn other programs used by department.Aptitude with Oracle or other ERP systems.Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher required.About American Axle & Manufacturing
