Job Description SummaryProvides expertise and leadership in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and expense-management for AAM product Engineering Department. Preparing operating budgets and forecast with and for various departments to support organization's expense management goals. Designing, preparing, and distributing expense analysis tracked against budget/Forecast expectations. Working and coordinating with various departments to prepare Engineering Design and Development cost study and analysis.
Job Description
In charge of month end closing process, prepare month end closing in according with AAM corporate policies and procedure. Provide on-time and clear analysis report for PE management team, organize the month end review.In charge of monthly forecast in according to AAM requirement, working with each individual department to summarize their operation plan and consolidate into overall PE finance forecast. Report and manage the surprises.Support and coordinate the annual budget process.Owner of EDD (mini Model) study, working with each individual function to coordinate the input, evaluate the business impact. Coordinating with Business Unit costing team for the PE department input.Working with Engineering System Team to review Monthly hours input, review the discrepancy. Consolidate and maintain resourcing model.SOX compliance, will be reviewer of quarterly Sox test.Monthly Balance sheet review, maintain the integrity of balance sheet. This is will include and limited to FA, Inventory, Accrual, AP.Compliance with various government survey, audit, and reporting requirement.Enforces organization financial practices by monitoring application of accounting policies and procedures; conducting audits.Coordinate with Corporate finance to make sure 100% compliance.PE department Capex planning and reporting.Protects organization value by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.All other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Education
BA/BS plus minimum 8 years professional experience; Advanced Degree preferred
