We are hiring an MBSE Model Based Systems Engineer to support key programs at NSWC Crane.RESPONSIBILITIESThorough understanding of all 9 SysML diagrams and DoDAF diagrams, and familiarity with Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)Maintain Configuration Management of models and associated analyzes and simulation productsAddress technical questions from junior staff, peers, and customersProvide technical guidance and management to junior MBSE StaffPerform final reviews of models and products developed by junior staff and peersQuality-check models and approve models for baseliningManage and maintain configuration control of all approved models, simulation, and analysis products and all versioning thereafterREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONExperience with development of DoDAF and SysML models using Cameo Systems Modeler/MagicDrawExpert with Cameo Systems Modeler and associated plugins such as UPDM, Data Hub, UAF, Safety and Reliability Analyzer15+ years of Systems Engineering and/or MBSE experience6+ years of experience creating SysML models, analyses, and simulation using Cameo Systems ModelerAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Please note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.EDUCATIONEngineering Degree from an ABET-accredited Engineering programBachelor’s Degree with 15+ years of SE and/or MBSE experience, Master’s Degree with 10+ years of SE + MBSEPREFERRED EXPERIENCEExperience implementing MBSE using MagicGrid Methodology and Cameo Systems ModelerExperience leading technical teams performing MBSE workExperience performing leadership functions within a systems engineering teamExpert in creating and integrating requirements, structural, parametric, and behavioral models and associated simulationAbility to lead and/or work with a distributed teamGood communications, problem-solving, and interpersonal skill
