Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry. As a member of the Advanced Battle Management Consortium (ABMS), Mission Systems is seeking Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering support for the Phalanx Griffon program.

What You Will Do

This role would primarily be responsible for ensuring the overall cybersecurity of the Phalanx Griffon program. Responsibilities include:

Managing personnel security

Conducting criticality analyses

Developing a risk management framework

Conducting cybersecurity assessments

Assisting with overall systems engineering management and requirements development related to cybersecurity processes

The role requires working collaboratively with several other companies towards successful developments, integrations, and demonstrations of the Phalanx Griffon technology. A successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate technically across various engineering disciplines. The role is expected to be primarily onsite in a secure facility at the cited location, requiring TS/SCI clearance on day 1.

Qualifications You Must Have

Demonstrates empathy, curiosity, and desire to constantly improve.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

Active and transferable U.S. government DoD issued TS/SCI security clearance required prior to start date.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications We Prefer

Background in cybersecurity management and network security.

Experience in developing clear, executable plans and conducting vulnerability assessments.

Ability to think both tactically and strategically when solving problems.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance priorities.

Experience working in highly collaborative environments.
