5+ years of network experience within an Enterprise IT environmentExperience troubleshooting category 6 and fiber cablingSubject matter expertise in Cisco network support and designStrong Routing and Switching experience (EIGRP, VPC, VLAN traffic engineering)Proficiency with router ACLs and network security conceptsExperience with DNS (Domain Name Service)Experience with authentication systems such as RADIUS, TACACS+, SSO, LDAP+B.S. in Computer Science or EngineeringPreferred Qualifications:
5+ years of network experienceCCNA certification preferredPrimary Responsibilities:
Working safelyA significant amount of time will be spent replacing network equipmentEstablishing the network environment by adhering to standards and best practices during hardware installation, creation of and updating documentation, and providing for backup and restoration of equipmentMaximizing network availability, reliability, and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, scheduling upgrades, hardware and cabling redundancy implementations, lab testing, collaboration on designs with network architects, hardware selections, and IOS software selectionsSecuring the network by enforcing security policies and best practicesInstall and support VOIP, business, operation technology, and process automation LANsProviding support for after normal business hours of operation and weekends (infrequent)Being onsite for work and meetings
