is looking for a
Systems Integrator (Systems Engineer).
Position Summary:
This is a Systems Integrator (Systems Engineer) position at the TPO-C, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.
What You'll Do:
Conduct overall management coordination for all technical, networking, simulation, exercise design, and administrative support.
Assist the Government in the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of simulation systems and tools, and exercises, and training events.
Provide strategic solutions for standardizing technology, technical documentation, and technical support models across the site(s).
Attend training, seminars, conferences, exercise/experiment planning events, site surveys, and training events.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (CS, Engineering, IT, or associated discipline) / 3 years of experience supporting like-sized teams and projects.
Experience in systems integration, including integrating HW/SW components to create cohesive systems.
Knowledge of DoD simulation technologies, particularly those relevant to Army military training and operations.
Knowledge of programming languages and scripting, including languages like C++, Java, or Python.
Familiarity with network architecture and protocols, particularly those used in military or simulation environments.
Hands-on experience with military simulation systems, such as constructive or virtual simulation platforms.
Understanding of the specific requirements and constraints of military training simulations.
DoD IAT II Certification.
United States Citizen.
Active SECRET Security Clearance.
Support Hours:
The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed.
Place of Performance:
The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies.
Travel:
The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
