Sr. Site Reliability Engineer - Cloud Operations

Availability is essential for security. Our environments are available round the clock. As technology evolves, we believe in continuous enhancement and deep diving into present-day knowledge.Essential Functions:Ensure the environment is secure and safe, remediating all security findings within the required resolution date defined by governance.Prevent outages, even for a second. If any issue arises, as the owner of the environment, ensure that it is up and running. Conduct root cause analysis within hours and remediate findings in the production environment after all tests and checks in lower environments.Track all activities planned or occurring in our environments. Responsible for deploying new code.Regularly analyze our environment. Automate manual tasks to increase self-heal capabilities until environments become auto-heal.Engage with product developers for planning when new services are added or when migrating old environments to new technologies.Work in shifts to synchronize with multiple locations and tracks.Record every activity as per incident or change management processes. Prepare and share technical run books with the team.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Basic Qualifications:• 2 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree; OR 5 years relevant work experience.Preferred Qualifications:• 3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD)• IT experience with expertise in DevOps, Build and Release Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation, Tech support (preferred)• Ability to work as a team player• Good written and communication skills• Punctuality• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills• Ability to effectively prioritize and coordinate• Quick learner of the latest technology trends• Good understanding of CI/CD technologies• Core skills in Dockers, DevOps, and Linux• DevOps experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes• Experience in Java-based web applications• Implementing CI/CD processes• Expertise in troubleshooting Java applications in Tomcat services and web applications in Apache• Good exposure to virtualization and containers• Ability to build deployment, build scripts, and automated solutions using scripting languages such as Shell scripting, JavaScript, Python• Experience with Docker, creating multiple containers and images, and writing Docker files• Created deployments, services, and ingress flows for application setup in Kubernetes clusters• Participated in release-level discussions and experienced the total SDLC and Agile methodology• Support OnCall for all SRE activities.Work Hours:

This position will be performed in an office setting. The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $102,300.00 to $144,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
