The Systems Integration Engineer position provides operational support to CAE USA’s Integration and Digital Engineering department. Responsibilities include hardware/software integration, configuration management, software modification and debugging, systems and network administration, test support and deployment of simulation training devices. Engineering skills in software integration and test are applied to help coordinate small to medium size projects under direct supervision.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

All communications must be in English.Software development in various languages (C, C++, C#, possibly Ada, possibly Fortran).Computer systems setup including hardware and software installation and setup of Windows and Linux Operating Systems.Computer interfaces (video, Ethernet, serial).Understanding of configuration management and hands on experience with configuration management tools.Basic network administration using Cisco switches.Windows Server administration/security relevant policy deployment.Computer Systems environments (environment variables, shells, registry settings).Windows batch files.Basic knowledge of aircraft interfaces (1553, ARINC).Basic knowledge of simulation I/O (DI, DO).Basic knowledge of testing equipment (digital mustimeter).Qualifications and Education Requirements

B S degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 2 years work experience in flight simulation or 4 years of experience in a similar field.Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.Must be willing to travel up to 35%.Must be willing to work extended hours (with OT pay).Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.Preferred Skills

Intermediate knowledge of aircraft interfaces (1553, ARINC).Motion and Controls experience.Other scripting languages (Python, Perl).Security relevant accreditations (CISSP, SSCP, A+).Security Responsibilities

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.Work Environment

Work sometimes performed in an environment where irritants such as noise, temperature, and lighting variations may exist, but there is little chance of injury, accident, or occupational health problems. Moderate to high levels of stress are sometimes experienced with this position.Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Must be able to travel both domestic and internationally.Must be familiar with and be able to work on simulation training devices, including using access stairs and ladders.Must be able to work overtime and off-shift.Other Duties
