TapHere is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer II to join our team in Charleston, SC supporting Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC-A).Experience Required:
Three (3) years of notable experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.Experience may include planning, implementing, upgrading, and/or monitoring cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network; assessing cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and proposing and implementing remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies; ensuring appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure; and responding to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.Specific Experience:
One (1) year of technical experience in support of an enterprise hosting environment either on-premises or in the cloud in support of multiple interconnected systems and enterprise managed services.Experience may be achieved simultaneously.Required Certification(s):
At least one (1) of the following: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).Plus: relevant certifications as approved by the COR in systems being administered. Additionally, individual shall meet the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable.Skills Required:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent; and depending on PWS tasking individual shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1M.Security Clearance Requirements:
