The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, with expertise in RTOS, bootloader development, secure storage, board bring-up, and C programming. This role is ideal for a well-rounded generalist who can handle a variety of tasks in the embedded software domain.Responsibilities :· Design, develop, and implement software for embedded systems with a focus on RTOS and bootloader development.· Perform board bring-up activities, including hardware validation, debugging, and initial software integration.· Develop and manage secure storage solutions to protect sensitive data in embedded systems.· Write and optimize C code for various embedded applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components into the overall system architecture.· Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware issues during the development and testing phases.· Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.· Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in embedded systems and apply them to ongoing projects.· Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.Qualifications :· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.· Proven experience in embedded software development with a focus on RTOS and bootloader development.· Strong expertise in C programming for embedded systems.· Experience with board bring-up, including hardware validation and debugging.· Knowledge of secure storage technologies and their implementation in embedded systems.· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.· Familiarity with additional embedded technologies such as device drivers, communication protocols, and peripheral integration is a plus.· Understanding of automotive or industrial embedded systems is desirable.Salary Range : The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits : Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
