You will also be responsible for assisting with the introduction of new services, including the development and documentation of deployment methodologies, and working with delivery teams to develop those capabilities in the field.RESPONSIBILITIES:Solutions / Technical Leadership Role:The Domain Architect understands all client scopes and objectives. They will be the one solution / technical voice facing the client externally and the escalation point internally for WWT employees, Partners, and Contractors.The Domain Architect will partner with the PMO counterpart to resolve Risks and Issues upon identification.The Domain Architect is accountable for resolving technical Risks and Issues in their project using their background and the array of resources available within WWT.The Domain Architect holds staff, contractors, and partners responsible for ensuring that The WWT best practices and templates are followed and delivered to the customer.The Domain Architect will review deployment documents, technical assessments, and other technical outputs to ensure a correct and consistent tone is delivered as defined by “One Voice.”The Domain Architect will manage their respective project as if it were their own stand-alone business and deliver a service that matches WWT expectations, focusing on profitability and professionalism.Work with Customers, Technical Solutions Architects, Client Services Executives, and Account teams to identify customers’ desired business and technical outcomes.Identify required resource types, levels of effort, and work breakdown structures required to formulate high-quality statements of work.Conduct project launch workshops and project scoping workshops before delivery engagement.Proper management, maintenance, and adherence to SLAs of assigned pre-sales opportunities within SalesForce as defined in SFDC guidelines.Project/Program Oversight and Support:Build and maintain relationships with delivery management, project management, and engineering teams nationally.Actively participate and support delivery engineers throughout all project phases including Project Launch Workshops, Kickoff calls, lessons learned, etc.Review client deliverables to identify opportunities to improve quality through training, mentoring, product offering improvement, and talent acquisition.Provide QA, escalation support, and mentoring for delivery teams.Development of implementation and backout plans.Interview delivery engineering candidates to determine proper technical and personality fit based on the project and customer’s specific needs.Ensure standards and delivery methodologies are being followed and appropriate internal and/or partner resources are available to meet the current and future demands of the project.Post Sales Billable Delivery:Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.Create change/cut window Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation.Perform advanced engineering services in support of engineering delivery team when necessary.Practice Development Support:Work with peers in delivery, practice and business development to assist in developing and delivering training and updates on new services.Assist in the practice development process by generating and maintaining documentation templates, processes, and collateral within the practice portal for use by delivery teams, Sales and Business Development.Monitor developing technologies and products and define the services that will be required to deliver those technologies and products.General Requirements:Demonstrated ability to lead architecture development activities and methodologies leading to comprehensive discovery, analysis, and technical/business recommendations.Advanced communication skills, including business/technical writing and presentations.Self-motivation with the ability to motivate and energize a project team.Drive to exceed customer and project goals.Demonstrate ability to work successfully at all customer levels, from C-level executives to end users.Proven track record of customer focus, including the ability to foster long-term client relationships.Willing to travel 25% of the time.QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience:
5+ years of IT experience, focusing on backup and recovery systems.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in backup software (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Veritas), storage solutions, and cloud-based backup technologies.Knowledge:
Strong understanding of data protection principles, disaster recovery processes, and risk management.Certifications:
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or vendor-specific certifications) are a plus.Analytical Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.Communication:
