The position will be part of a team of integrators and subject matter experts (SMEs) who work together to ensure NASA human spaceflight programs adequately incorporate and implement NASA HMTA standards from NASA-STD-3001 into vehicle design. The Human Systems Integrator will monitor how well HMTA requirements are met, ensure that issues of unmet or under met requirements are documented, communicate the status of these issues to the HMTA/HHP team, and prepare materials for communicating awareness or escalating issues as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESServe as Human Systems Integrator.Participate in designated meetings as the HMTA/HHP representative, taking notes and communicating relevant information.Coordinate with HMTA, HHP Management, and HHP technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).Provide insight to Program compliance with HMTA mandatory standards.Coordinate and participate in Program document and design reviews.Develop requirements mapping from HMTA standards to Program documents.Review and assess integrated test and analysis activities.Develop position papers, presentations, and/or requirements interpretations for HMTA issues.Participate in various meetings and develop presentations as necessary.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, biomedical engineering, industrial engineering, biomedical science, or closely related field and 0 to 5 years’ experience (or MS and 3 years’ experience).DESIRED:
Demonstrated experience in human systems integration and/or in collaborating with multi-disciplined teams.SKILLS/TRAININGREQUIRED:
The candidate shall have demonstrated the ability to work independently and possess strong verbal and written communication skills including delivering presentations and writing reports.DESIRED:
