MRI, a woman-owned Technologies and Engineering Services company, has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integrator onthe JETS II Contract at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.We are excited about what we do, and we need you on our team as we take on exciting challenges for NASA's pursuits in deep space exploration.
As a Systems Integrator you will:
Understands complex systems, particularly interfaces and interdependenciesAble to apply model-based systems engineering best practices to developing models of systems Experienced developing interface control documentsExperienced with software development and architectures Experienced with autonomous systemsPerform other duties as required
Here's What You'll Need:
Requisition Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 2- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Experience with software verification and validation processes Experience with complex distributed systemsExperience with developing software using C/C++ in a Linux environmentExperience with requirements management tools such as DOORS NG Experience with web-based collaboration tools
Requisition Preferences:
Experience with tools such as, Confluence, Gitlab, JIRA, MS Teams, Slack, SharepointStrong evidence of success in highly collaborative projects/environmentsAbility to succeed in fast-paced environmentsMust be flexible, open to new challenges in a dynamic environmentPossess strong technical expertise combined with verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities with little supervisionMust be a highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong work ethic Must have highly developed coordination and organization skillsExcellent communicator, particularly written communication and visual diagram creationScripting languages such as PythonAgile software developmentNASA software and systems development standardsNASA Gateway Spacecraft systems and software including the Core Flight System (CFS)software infrastructure
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency may be a requirement for this position.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Work Environment
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Equipment and Machines
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.

Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
