to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by working on the TFM2 contract. TFM2 provides modernization and life cycle support of Information Technology infrastructure that host national implementation of the FAA's Traffic Flow Management (TFM) functionality. It also focuses on long term engineering services and the development of new functional enhancements that increase the capability of Traffic Flow Management.HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SENIOR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Design Java EE/Jakarta EE software using object-oriented design patternsDesign, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain algorithmic and mathematical solutions.Develop applications to solve highly complex technical challengesDevelop test harnesses to support software testingProvide software support for a real-time air traffic management systemDebug software problems and provide solutionsDevelop software requirementsDocument verification and validation of solution sets and protocolsImprove operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with software standardsWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education:

Bachelor’s degree( in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field)Required Experience:

Extensive experience using Java EE/Jakarta EEExperience implementing GUIs with SwingExperience with ORM frameworks (Eclipselink, Hibernate)Experience using C/C++Experience working within an Agile development environmentExperience implementing various software life cycles including Agile/ScrumExperience with Ansible and/or containerization/virtualization desired (ex: Docker, Podman, Skopeo, Buildah, Kubernetes, Openshift)Strong Linux knowledge/experienceExtensive knowledge of SQL, XML JSON, YAML, and experience with relational databasesDemonstrated strength in solving complex problemsCloud experienceStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills
