The
Digital Technology Services (DTS) Senior Data Governance
will work with clients to build out enterprise Data Governance solutions across the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. Entails working with stakeholders, decision makers, managers, and technologists to build a solution to govern data. This solution will incorporate best practices, security, repeatable assets, data quality, matching strategies, workflows and write back to source systems. Will drive quality, consistent, auditable data that allows clients to become data driven, to manage their business, to increase sales, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of Data Governance activities in the Health Care Industry, including data catalog, glossary, lineage, classifications, policies, collections, scans and security.
This is a hybrid role where you will be working 75% remote and 25% onsite in the Edison, NJ Office.
ResponsibilitiesA day in the life of a

at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
Design, develop, implement, and complete end to end Data Governance solutions.
Evangelize the Data Governance practice with our stakeholders and partners.
Add value to clients. Organize, clean, and structure their data.
Create custom Data Quality Rules, Matching Strategies, Golden Record selection, Workflows, flow data end to end using best practices.
Provide and support the implementation and operations of data catalogs, custom data lineage, data glossary, and documentation.
Gather requirements, design, and build out the Data Governance solutions
Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
QualificationsEducation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a data governance role.
Experience with SQL (writing complex queries).
Experience with Data Governance, including Data Catalog, Data Glossary, Data Lineage, Data Classifications, Policies, Collections, Scans, Security, including both On-Premises and Cloud data sources.
Merge and transform datasets.
Attention to detail, critical thinking, desire to learn, and intellectually curious.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with requirements translation and the Agile work process.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Master's / PhD.
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in the Data Governance, Data Analysis, Statistics field.
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
