If you have a commitment to supporting and building our community, we want your energy and talent as part of our diverse team.Job Description:Position requires on-site attendance; this is not a remote work position.Work Schedule: M-F 8AM - 5PMPosition available for a person to work under the limited direction of the Director of Information Technology, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, servers and storage, telephone systems, mobile and desktop devices, audio and visual equipment, cloud services, Help Desk services, and cybersecurity initiatives. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, developing infrastructure strategies, and ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and securely while supporting the needs of the Commission. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a focus on aligning IT infrastructure with business objectives.Job Responsibilities:Develop and execute the IT infrastructure and cybersecurity strategy in alignment with organizational goals.Manage and mentor a team of IT infrastructure professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network and server infrastructures.Ensure high availability, security, and performance of IT systems through effective monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting.Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure capabilities and cybersecurity.Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and security.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure the integration of IT infrastructure with business processes.Negotiate, develop, and manage vendor purchase, license, and maintenance contracts, in consultation with the legal team.Develop and manage budgets for IT infrastructure projects and operations.Prepare reports on infrastructure and cybersecurity performance, incidents, and initiatives for senior management.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.Requirements:7+ years related experience.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Valid Driver's License.Preferred Requirements:Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, Project Management Professional [PMP]).Proven experience (5+ years) in IT infrastructure management, with a demonstrated ability to lead successful IT projects.Strong knowledge of networking, server management, virtualization, and cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure).Experience with infrastructure and cybersecurity monitoring and management tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with Oracle solutions.Employment is contingent upon passing a physical examination including a drug/alcohol screening and a comprehensive background check.
