Awarded in 2020. This contract provides NAVAIR and its government and commercial partners and program communities of interest with enterprise solutions and services to meet the specialized information technology/communications needs required for complex environments. This division develops, operates, and maintains secure, reliable communications and computing infrastructures enabling labs to develop and test new and innovative weapon systems. The Division provides products, services, and support to ensure an efficient and effective operating environment for NAVAIR laboratories, programs, and test events.The Network and Computer Systems Administrator will:Hold an IAT LEVEL II (Security+ce Certification).Perform in support of the RDT&E Network Enterprise.Technical college degree preferred but years of experience may be substituted.Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption.May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.May administer network security measures.Possess a Microsoft Computing Environment certification.Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems and network administration work is required. Six (6) years of additional related work experience or an Associate’s Degree and four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

The selected applicant must have DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ce), a computing environment certification and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments.Security Clearance:
