Manager of Business Systems AnalysisPosition Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for being the lead analyst on assigned projects and support initiatives using general business knowledge and knowledge of business functionality of assigned business domain and application systems. The incumbent uses their understanding of systems life cycle, systems integration, data flows, requirements elicitation, testing and reporting tools, relational databases and SQL. The incumbent's decisions greatly impact the corporation and the operational effectiveness of the Technology Department.Primary Responsibilities:
Performs business operational assessments and provides support to lines of business for software applications.Delivers the elicitation of Technology business requirements on assigned projects.Interacts with Technology and internal customers including Operations, Project Management Office and LOB Management.Coordinates relationships with vendors.Consults to determine the priorities of Technology working with the business product roadmap using advanced skills for requirements elicitation and documentation.Creates Technology business documents.Develops and executes test plans, test cases and scripts.Resolves and documents quality assurance issues.Troubleshoots application issues and works toward resolution.Coordinates resolution of application issues in areas of responsibility.Collaborates on the development of application road maps and Technology system plans.Exerts latitude in determining objectives of assignments.Acts independently on defined project tasks.Provides input to project plans and receives direction from management.Participates in production change control meetings and also works with assigned external vendors.Works independently or as part of a team to achieve results.Acts as a vendor liaison for business units for assigned applications.Proposes and discusses production changes in areas of responsibility.Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by F.N.B.
