Our mission is to bring excitement and fun to deal shopping every day, by offering the best deals and most entertaining experiences on the web.
Are you a master of getting things done, on time, and with a touch of flair? Do you have an eye for detail and a burning desire to bring delightful deals to the world? Then you might just be the Technical Program Manager (TPM) we're looking for! Our client is looking for a TPM to manage a large technology transformation project that requires coordination across numerous engineering teams and stakeholder groups. You will work with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to deliver re-imagined retail experiences to our customers and efficient administrative platforms to our internal teams by leveraging widely adopted e-commerce platforms. You also will lead coordination and management of any external partners we work with on the project (i.e. contractors). As a TPM, you'll be expected to devise project plans and gantt's accounting for dependencies, establish processes for cross-functional collaboration, and report project progress up to leadership. We need someone who is exceptionally organized, can balance competing priorities, and is a wizard at seeing around corners and unblocking bottlenecks.
In addition to your program management role, there will also be opportunity to support product management activities. When you work for our client, you will wear many hats. This secondary component of the role (less than 30-40% of your time) will be supporting product activities such as prioritization and roadmapping, product requirements and user stories, and collaborating with engineering on implementation/testing. Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of program/project management experienceBachelor's degreeExperience developing project schedules/plans with large numbers of dependencies.Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technical projects from inception through execution.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and to collaboratively remove bottlenecks as they arise.Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and software (i.e. Jira) and experience working in Agile teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate both high-level project status and complex technical details to diverse audiences.Strong product management competency in prioritization, customer obsession, technical aptitude, and data-driven decision-making.Experience with prevailing enterprise e-commerce platforms
