Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) PICU Full Time

East Tennessee Children's Hospital, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join 6 pediatric critical care specialists & 3 APPs in our vibrant, primarily clinical practice in Knoxville, TN. East Tennessee Children's Hospital (ETCH), a comprehensive medical center with 152 beds and more than 100 pediatric sub-specialists, serves patients throughout the East Tennessee region.
The ETCH PICU is a 14-bed unit providing critical and intermediate care for medical and surgical patients from a 17-county area. Services include CRRT, acute hemodialysis, iNO, HFOV, and pediatric ground transport. The ETCH medical staff has a full spectrum of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists, in addition to a large hospitalist service. The emergency department and our urgent care facilities serve 75,000 patients annually.
The ideal candidate will be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with PICU experience as an APP or nurse and hold a valid Tennessee license. Responsibilities are limited to clinical coverage of the critical care service and is a full-time position (15 shifts per month) with a variety of weekday and weekend coverage with occasional nighttime backup.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
