WHAT YOU'LL DO:
TruStone Home Mortgage is a dedicated and specialized division of TruStone Financial Credit Union. This division is focused on the fast-paced and highly-regulated home mortgage market. Loans originated in this division are originated and underwritten to national standards established by divisions of the federal government (e.g. USDA, VA, FHA), government-sponsored enterprises (e.g. FNMA and FHLMC) and large institutional investors. This position is responsible for coordinating and performing all aspects of servicing related functions once the mortgage loan is funded. These duties include payment processing, accounting for all escrow related areas and processing member service inquiries. Review all Fannie Mae and FHLB reporting and processing to ensure data is accurate in all systems, works with all vendors to resolve issues, and processes all service related functions of closed and funded mortgage loan files.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm at our Plymouth Corporate Office; non-exempt.
In addition:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.* 2+ years of mortgage servicing experience.* Knowledge of mortgage documentation and regulatory requirements.* Advanced problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Ability to be comfortable working with and balancing data in a variety of loan systems.* Ability to identify and facilitate change in a deadline driven, highly regulated environment.* Ability to work well under pressure and be able to meet externally influenced deadlines.* Ability to work in a changing, challenging and fast paced work environment with variable stress levels.* Solid time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.* Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable as well as the ability to work independently while displaying* initiative and decision making skills.* Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.* A high level of business acumen with the ability to develop strong relationships with borrowers, branch personnel and industry partners.* Experience in computer systems including MS Office.* Competency in basic math and technology skills.* Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.* Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
