Optum is seeking a technical manager to support the implementation program for claims and other healthcare solutions. This individual will be responsible for architecting and designing technical solutions for integration for both On Prem and Cloud based solutions

Primary Responsibilities:Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team membersLead the design and development of integrations between Facets, Health Rules Payer and the rest of the customers technology ecosystemWork with client requirements, technical architects and program leadership to scope, plan and design integrationsProvide leadership, guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementBuild and maintain solid client relationshipsEnsure client satisfaction by delivering high quality servicesDetermine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processesProven ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment
You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience with software development life cycle including Agile and Waterfall delivery models5+ years of experience with SQL writing queries and stored procedures and API integration5+ years of experience with Facets/HealthRules payer integration5+ years of experience working with Health Insurance processes and systems, including claims processing, enrollment, benefits and provider management5+ years of experience leading integration efforts for large scale system implementations5+ years of experience migrating a healthcare plan to a new technology platform3+ years of experience working with Azure/CloudAbility to travel as needed potentially up to 25% however will likely be less or none at all
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with offshore teamsExperience managing budget and resource plansExperience in a leadership role in a diverse, fast paced environment

The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
